HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

      Remove the No. 2 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT BACK COVER (for HID Headlight)

      Remove the headlight back cover.

  3. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

      Separate the light control ECU socket as shown in the illustration.

    2. A003TRYE01

      Release the set spring and remove the discharge headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB


    1. A003USK

      Remove the No. 1 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

  5. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB


    1. A003SDK

      Turn the front turn signal light bulb and the front turn signal light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the front turn signal light socket.

  6. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

      Turn the clearance light bulb and the clearance light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

      Tech Tips

      When removing the clearance light bulb of the headlight assembly RH, turn the bulb and socket in the opposite direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the clearance light bulb from the clearance light socket.

  7. REMOVE LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (for HID Headlight)


    1. A003UI9

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the light control ECU sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET (for HID Headlight)


    1. Remove the headlight gasket.

      Note

      After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do so may cause water ingress.
