REAR WIPER MOTOR INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Wiper Motor Assembly)

      Check the wiper intermittent operation.


      1. Connect a battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 (+B), and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (C1) and terminal 4 (E), and check that the motor operates.

        OK
        Motor operates.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.

      Check the wiper continuous operation.


      1. Connect a battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 (+B), and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (LS) and terminal 4 (E), and check that the motor operates.

        OK
        Motor operates.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.
