Using a brush, apply Primer M to the exposed part of the vehicle body.
Note
Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.
Do not apply primer to the adhesive.
Throw away any leftover primer.
Do not apply too much primer.
Using a brush or sponge, apply Primer G to the contact surface of a new glass.

Tech Tips
If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, apply a non-residue solvent to a clean cloth and wipe off the excess primer.
Note

Apply adhesive to the glass.

Cut off the tip of the cartridge nozzle as shown in the illustration.
Tech Tips
After cutting off the tip, use all adhesive within the time written in the table below.

Load the sealer gun with the cartridge.
Apply adhesive to the glass as shown in the illustration.

Install the front side fix window to the vehicle body.
Hold the front side fix window securely in place with protective tape or equivalent until the adhesive hardens.
Note
Check that the fastener is attached to the vehicle body correctly.
Check that the vehicle body and glass have a small gap between them.
Lightly press the front surface of the glass to ensure that the glass is securely fit to the vehicle body.

Do not drive the vehicle for the amount of the time written in the table below.

INSPECT FOR LEAK AND REPAIR
After the adhesive has hardened, apply water from the outside of the vehicle. Check that no water leaks into the cabin.
If water leaks into the cabin, allow the water to dry and add adhesive.
Remove the protective tape.
INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
Remove the protective cover.

Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is not damaged.
Note
If there is any damage, replace the garnish clip with a new one.
When a garnish clip is being replaced, make sure to install it in the direction shown in the illustration.
Engage the guide.
Turn the end of the front pillar garnish clip 90° with needle-nosed pliers and install it to the front pillar garnish LH.
Tech Tips
Tape the tips of the needle-nosed pliers before use.
Engage the 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish LH.

Engage the 2 guides (B).
Engage the 2 guides (A) and 5 claws, then install the front pillar garnish corner piece LH.
Remove the protective tape.
