DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) detects that the sliding roof switch (map light assembly) is stuck for 30 seconds or more.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  • When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) is removed and reinstalled or replaced, it requires initialization Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Sliding Roof / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF ECU - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.

    2. Disconnect the sliding roof switch (map light assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O9-7 (DWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O9-8 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
