    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O9-2 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      O9-1 (B) - O9-2 (E) L - W-B +B Power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      O9-5 (IG) - O9-2 (E) L - W-B Power switch power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      O9-5 (IG) - O9-2 (E) L - W-B Power switch power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O9 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
O9-7 (DWN) - O9-2 (E) LG - W-B Sliding roof motor open Power switch on (IG), SLIDE OPEN switch ON Below 1 V
O9-7 (DWN) - O9-2 (E) LG - W-B Sliding roof motor open Power switch on (IG), SLIDE OPEN switch OFF 11 to 14 V
O9-9 (UP) - O9-2 (E) P - W-B Sliding roof motor close Power switch on (IG), TILT UP switch ON Below 1 V
      O9-9 (UP) - O9-2 (E) P - W-B Sliding roof motor close Power switch on (IG), TILT UP switch OFF 11 to 14 V

If the result is not as specified, the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) may have a malfunction.
