AIR CONDITIONING UNIT DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003U1E

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 air duct sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003UO5

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 3 air duct sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/o PTC Heater)


    1. A003RZP

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and the blower assembly.

  4. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ PTC Heater)


    1. A003RK0

      Disengage each clamp.

    2. A003UIG

      Remove the screw and disengage the quick heater connector.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Remove the 3 screws and the blower assembly.

  5. REMOVE AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR


    1. A003TIN

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and the air outlet control servo motor.

  6. REMOVE AIR MIX CONTROL SERVO MOTOR


    1. A003SYE

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and the air mix control servo motor.

  7. REMOVE QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ PTC Heater)


    1. A003TEG

      Disengage each clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. A003SVD

      Remove the quick heater assembly as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY


    1. A003S6Z

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp and remove the air conditioning harness.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 FINISH PANEL MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. A003T7C

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 finish panel mounting bracket.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 FINISH PANEL MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. A003TP6

      Remove the screw and the No. 1 finish panel mounting bracket.

  11. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY


    1. A003S4K

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the air conditioning assembly as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)


    1. A003UXD

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the air conditioning duct sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE DRAIN COOLER HOSE


    1. A003TUW

      Remove the drain cooler hose from the air conditioning radiator assembly.

  14. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003RONE01

      Remove the screw and the clamp.

    2. Remove the heater radiator unit sub-assembly from the air conditioning unit assembly.

  15. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE


    1. A003ULA

      Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and cooler expansion valve.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A003RZZ

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A003TEP

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower heater case as shown in the illustration.

    3. A003SD8

      Disengage the clamp, and remove the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly together with the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR


    1. A003S77

      Remove the No. 1 cooler thermistor from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.
