FRONT SEATBACK HEATER INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seatback Heater Assembly LH)

      Apply battery voltage to the front seatback heater assembly LH and check the seatback heater.

      OK
      Measurement Connection Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      		 Always Seatback heater becomes warm

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly LH.

      Note

      Immediately after confirming that the seat heater is functioning normally, remove the battery leads. Failing to do so may cause the seat heater to overheat.

      Apply battery voltage to the front seatback heater assembly RH and check the seatback heater.

      		 Always Seatback heater becomes warm

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly RH.
