FRONT SEATBACK HEATER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT

      Remove the rear floor mat.

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

      Remove the rear deck floor box.

  3. REMOVE BATTERY BOX COVER


    1. A003UZD

      Disengage the 3 guides and remove the battery box cover.

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment Click here.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER

      Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer seat track cover.

  7. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the inner seat track cover.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

    2. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    3. A003UQF

      Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

    4. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the seatback to the upright position.

    5. Disconnect the connectors under the seat.

    6. Remove the seat.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  9. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  10. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER COVER

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical adjuster cover.

  11. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Remove the 2 screws and the vertical adjusting handle.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A003SSGE02

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat cushion shield.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector and clamp.

    2. A003T6M

      Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD


    1. A003SIAE02

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Separate the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion inner shield.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. A003TMO

      Remove the hooks.

    2. A003SKV

      for Passenger Side:

      Disconnect the belt warning occupant detection sensor.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the hooks and the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    5. A003SMI

      Remove the hook.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover, remove the screw, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover RH.

    2. A003TAX

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 8 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY


    1. A003TL0E02

      Remove the 4 tag pins and the front seatback heater assembly.
