      Component without harness connected

      (Airbag Cut Off Switch)

      Turn the power switch off.

    2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    3. Disconnect the connector from the airbag cut off switch.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the value is not within the specified range, replace the airbag cut off switch.

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      E19-2 (PMC+) - E19-1 (PMC-) Cut off switch is ON 360 to 440 Ω
      E19-2 (PMC+) - E19-1 (PMC-) Cut off switch is OFF 90 to 110 Ω
