ROOM LIGHT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (ROOM LIGHT SWITCH BASE)


    1. Disconnect the wire harness from the No. 1 room light assembly (room light switch base).

    2. A003RSEE09

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Terminal E - Light Busbar Light switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      Light switch ON Below 1 Ω
      Terminal CTY - Light Busbar Light switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      Light switch in DOOR Below 1 Ω
      Terminal B - Bulb Terminal Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the room light switch base.

    3. Connect a (+) lead from the battery to terminal B and a (-) lead to the light busbar.

    4. Check that the light comes on.

      OK
      The light comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb.
