INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR TELEVISION CAMERA)

    1. Disconnect the E26 connector from the navigation receiver assembly.

    2. Disconnect the R12 connector from the rear television camera assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R12-2 (CV+) - E26-1 (V+) Always Below 1 Ω
      R12-4 (CB+) - E26-2 (CA+) Always Below 1 Ω
      R12-3 (CGND) - E26-12 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      R12-1 (CV-) - E26-11 (V-) Always Below 1 Ω
R12-2 (CV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
R12-4 (CB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
R12-3 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
R12-1 (CV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG
    OK
  2. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Reconnect the R12 connector to the rear television camera assembly.

      *d Video Waveform

Check the waveform of the rear television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.

      Tech Tips

A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the navigation receiver assembly with the connector connected.

      OK
Waveform is similar to that shown in the illustration.
      Item Content
      Terminal No. (Symbol) E26-1 (V+) - E1-7 (E)
      Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μsec./DIV.
Condition Power switch on (READY), reverse (R) selected

      Tech Tips

The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.
