DESCRIPTION

The clearance warning ECU assembly receives the reverse signal from the power management control ECU via the No. 1 integration relay.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the E104 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E104-8 (RL) - Body ground

      Power switch on (READY)

      Reverse (R) selected

      11 to 14 V
      E104-8 (RL) - Body ground

      Power switch on (READY)

      Reverse (R) not selected

      Below 1 V

    NG
    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY)


    1. Disconnect the E104 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the 1G No. 1 integration relay connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E104-8 (RL) - 1G-4 (NAV) Always Below 1 Ω
      E104-8 (RL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. INSPECT NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY


    1. Disconnect the 1G No. 1 integration relay connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1G-13 (BKUP) - Body ground

      Power switch on (READY)

      Reverse (R) selected

      11 to 14 V
      1G-13 (BKUP) - Body ground

      Power switch on (READY)

      Reverse (R) not selected

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY - POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU)


    1. Disconnect the 1G No. 1 integration relay connector.

    2. Disconnect the A98 power management control ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1G-13 (BKUP) - A98-15 (BL) Always Below 1 Ω
      1G-13 (BKUP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
