FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01JBY3

      Engage the guide and install the front side member bracket sub-assembly LH.

    2. Install the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

      *1 Bolt
      *2 Screw

      Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper side support LH.

    2. Install the bolt and screw.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Engage the claw.

    2. Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      34 N*m  { 347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf }

    3. Engage the 5 clamps.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Engage the 4 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SEAL


    1. Clean the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly surface.


      1. Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from the front bumper seal.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install a new front bumper seal.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01JCJ4

      Engage the 20 claws to install the No. 1 lower radiator grille.

    2. Install the 2 outside moulding retainers.

  9. INSTALL NO. 2 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01JA7N

      Engage the pin and 5 claws, and install the No. 2 lower radiator grille.

    2. A01J9TT

      Install the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

      Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the 3 claws and install the front bumper hole cover LH.

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

  12. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Engage the claw and install the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM ASSEMBLY


    1. A01J9XE

      Engage the 2 pins and 4 claws, and install the radiator grille emblem assembly.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01JCTR

      Engage the 12 claws and install the radiator grille.

    2. A01JCTS

      Install the 4 clips.

  15. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. A01JD3T

      Engage the 8 clamps and install the headlight cleaner hose.

  16. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM NO. 3 WIRE


    1. A01J9CQ

      Engage the 9 clamps to install the engine room No. 3 wire.

  17. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL

      *1 Double-sided Tape

      Engage the 2 clips and install a new hood to front end panel seal.

    2. Install the clip.

  18. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  19. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 2 guides to temporarily install the fog light assembly.

    2. Install the fog light assembly with the screw.

      Torque:
      2.3 N*m  { 23 kgf*cm, 20 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

  20. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  21. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Daytime Running Light)

      Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the front turn signal light assembly.

    2. Install the front turn signal light assembly with the clip.

    3. Engage each clamp.

    4. Connect the connector.

  22. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Daytime Running Light)

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  23. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Daytime Running Light)

      Engage the 2 claws to temporarily install the front turn signal light assembly.

    2. Install the front turn signal light assembly with the clip.

    3. Engage each clamp.

    4. Connect the connector.

  24. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Daytime Running Light)

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  25. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intelligent Parking Assist System)

      *2 Keyhole

      Temporarily install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper.

      Note


      • Do not damage the front bumper with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

      • Securely install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there are no gaps between the retainer and surface of the front bumper.

      Tech Tips

      When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and protrusion as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultra sonic sensor retainer to the front bumper.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

  26. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intelligent Parking Assist System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the outside of the bumper when there is a gap between the retainer and the bumper surface. In this case, do not push on the ultrasonic sensor.

      Engage the 4 claws to connect the wire harness with bracket.

    3. Connect the connector.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

  27. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Push the tab and engage the 2 claws to install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH.

    4. Connect the headlight cleaner hose.
