HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Center Stop Light Assembly)

      Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 (B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (E).

    2. Check that the center stop light comes on.

      OK
      The light comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the center stop light assembly.

  2. INSPECT CENTER STOP LIGHT WIRE HARNESS

      Component without harness connected

      (Center Stop Light Wire Harness)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      WT1-1 (E2) - W1-1 (E) Always Below 1 Ω
      WT1-1 (E2) - W1-2 (B) Always 10 kΩ or higher
      WT1-2 (LED) - W1-2 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
      WT1-2 (LED) - W1-1 (E) Always 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the center stop light set.
