REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET

      Remove the rear combination light body gasket.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.

      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body gasket to prevent water ingress.

  2. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

      Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the rear turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and disconnect them as a unit.

    2. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB

      Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the back-up light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and disconnect them as a unit.

    2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FOG LIGHT BULB (w/ Rear Fog Light)


    1. for LHD:


      1. A01JBZ5

        Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the No. 1 rear fog light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and disconnect them as a unit.

    2. for RHD:


      1. A01JBE9

        Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the No. 1 rear fog light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and disconnect them as a unit.

    3. Remove the No. 1 rear fog light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER


    1. A01JCBG

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the rear bumper upper retainer.

  7. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT GASKET


    1. A01J92Z

      Remove the rear combination light gasket.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.

      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light gasket to prevent water ingress.

  8. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT CLIP


    1. A01JCZC

      Remove the 2 rear combination light clips.
