REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET

      Remove the rear combination light body gasket.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.

      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body gasket to prevent water ingress.

  2. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

      Turn the rear turn signal light bulb and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB

      Turn the back-up light bulb and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FOG LIGHT BULB (w/ Rear Fog Light)

      Turn the No. 1 rear fog light bulb and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the No. 1 rear fog light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the cap in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and separate it.

    2. A01J919

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the clamp and remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the rear bumper upper retainer.

  7. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT GASKET


    1. A01J8P2

      Remove the rear combination light gasket.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.

      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light gasket to prevent water ingress.

  8. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GUIDE


    1. A01J9GZ

      Remove the 2 rear light guides.
