UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

      Remove the 3 screws <C> and No. 3 heater to register duct.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. A01JAWO

      Remove the 3 screws <C> and No. 2 heater to register duct.

  3. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)


    1. Disengage the 5 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and navigation antenna assembly.

  4. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR


    1. A01J9HN

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the automatic light control sensor.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and each clamp, and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (for RHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and each clamp, and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  7. REMOVE NO. 5 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE


    1. A01JAFM

      Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 5 instrument panel wire.

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. A01J8KB

      Remove the 5 screws <C> and instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

  9. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01JAM0

      Remove the 3 screws <C> and center instrument panel register assembly.

  10. REMOVE METER HOOD SPACER


    1. A01JB4Y

      Remove the 2 screws <C> and meter hood spacer.

  11. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    When storing the front passenger airbag assembly, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.

      Remove the 2 screws and 2 clamps.

    2. A01JB7V

      Lean the instrument panel and disengage the 3 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01J946

      Disengage the 3 hooks to remove the front passenger airbag assembly from the instrument panel safety pad assembly as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the No. 1 instrument panel cushion.

  13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION


    1. A01JCBI

      Remove the instrument panel cushion.

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the No. 2 instrument panel cushion.

  15. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION


    1. A01JAWE

      Remove the No. 4 instrument panel cushion.

  16. REMOVE NO. 5 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the No. 5 instrument panel cushion.
