LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01JBF4

      Install the separate type front seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. A01J95H

      Engage the 2 clamps and install the front seat wire.

    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR


    1. A01JCVF

      Engage the 2 guides and install the No. 1 front seat cushion protector with the screw.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR


    1. A01JARQ

      Engage the 2 guides and install the No. 2 front seat cushion protector with the screw.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH


    1. A01JBB0

      Engage the clip and install the screw.

    2. A01J9PG

      Engage the hook and install the front seat lower cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. A01JC1T

      Engage the clip and install the screw.

    2. A01J8S6

      Engage the hook and install the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Engage the guide and install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. A01J979

      Engage the guide and install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  9. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. A01JCNR

      Install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.

      • Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.

      • Install the bracket securely.

    2. A01JAZO

      Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. A01JD2S

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01J9EB

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    4. for Passenger Side:


      1. A01JBF5

        Engage the guide and install the belt warning occupant detection sensor.

      2. A01JDA4

        Engage the 3 clamps.

      3. Connect the connector.

    5. A01J9KL

      Engage the 4 hooks.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01JCCI

        Engage the clamp.

      2. A01JAAJ

        Fasten the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

      3. Connect the connector.

    7. w/ Lumber support:


      1. A01JAZP

        Engage the 4 clamps.

      2. A01JCQZ

        Engage the 3 clamps and connect the connector.

    8. A01JAJH

      Engage the hook and install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD


    1. A01JAD7

      Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat cushion inner shield.

  12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

    2. Connect each connector.

    3. Engage each clamp.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Lumber Support:


      1. A01JAOR

        Disengage the 5 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    2. A01JCR1

      Engage the clip and 2 claws.

    3. Install the front seat cushion shield assembly with the screw.

  14. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE


    1. A01J9YL

      Install the vertical adjusting handle with the screw.

  15. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.

  16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Connect the connectors under the seat.

    3. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

    4. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    5. A01JATSE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    6. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

    7. A01J916E01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  17. INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK COVER

      Engage the claw and guide and install the inner seat track cover.

  18. INSTALL OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER

      Engage the 2 claws and install the outer seat track cover.

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

      Install the front seat headrest assembly as shown in the illustration.

  20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  21. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

      Engage the 2 guides to install the rear No. 3 floor board.

  22. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. Install the rear deck floor box.

  23. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD


    1. A01JCWRE01

      Engage the 3 guides <A>.

    2. Engage the 2 guides <B> and install the rear No. 2 floor board as shown in the illustration.

  24. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. During sliding operation of the front seat, check that the left and right adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously.

      If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the seat mounting bolts to adjust the adjuster position.

    2. w/ Seat Heater Seat System:

      Check the seat heater operation.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. Push the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
