FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  2. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and clip.

    3. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. A01JAOR

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

  4. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)


    1. A01J9PV

      Remove the 2 screws and lumbar switch.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp.

    3. A01J9T3

      Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD


    1. A01JAD7

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion inner shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. A01JAJH

      Remove the hook.

    2. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. A01JCQZ

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 3 clamps.

      3. A01JAZP

        Disengage the 4 clamps.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01JAAJ

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Unfasten the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

      3. A01JCCI

        Disengage the clamp.

    4. A01J9KL

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    5. for Passenger Side:


      1. A01JDA4

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 3 clamps.

      3. A01JBF5

        Disengage the guide and remove the belt warning occupant detection sensor.

    6. A01JA3G

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    7. A01J8XV

      Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    8. Disengage each hook and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A01JD7U

      Remove the 2 hog rings

    2. A01J8MM

      Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. A01J8TG

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    2. A01JAZO

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. A01JCNR

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover RH.

    4. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. A01JAIO

      Remove the 2 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover.

  11. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. A01J979

      Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  12. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)


    1. A01J8D3

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01JC1T

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01JBB0

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR


    1. A01JARQ

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR


    1. A01JCVF

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 1 front seat cushion protector.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)


    1. A01J95H

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the front seat wire.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/o Lumbar Support)


    1. A01JCMD

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly.

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/ Lumbar Support)


    1. A01JBF4

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback assembly.

  20. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE


    1. A01J8RY

      Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the seat track adjusting handle.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. A01JCMG

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
