FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp.

      Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  3. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide, 2 claws and clip, and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 6 clamps and disconnect the No. 1 front seat wire.

      Disengage the clip.

    4. Disengage the 4 claws and guide, and disconnect the front seat cushion shield assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    6. Disengage the clamp and hook, and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  6. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  7. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

      Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch.

  8. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH (POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lumbar switch (power seat switch assembly).

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

      Disengage the 3 claws and open the wire harness cover as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the clamp and hook, and remove the front seat wire from the front seat cushion shield

  10. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front inner seat cushion shield.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Disconnect the rubber band.

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    3. A01JAD1

      Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

      Disconnect the connector.

    5. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

    6. Disengage the fastener and disconnect the side airbag wire harness.

      Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    8. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings

    2. A01J8MM

      Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01JCEU

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

      Pull out the lower part of 2 fasteners from the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Remove the 3 hog rings and disconnect the 2 fastening rubbers.

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    9. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. A01JAIO

      Remove the 2 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  15. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEAT WIRE


    1. A01JBNW

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps and remove the front No. 1 seat wire from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. A01J9FV

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01JB4G

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front lower seat cushion shield RH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion edge protector RH.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 4 guides and remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
