AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT AIRBAG CUT OFF SWITCH


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.

      Component without harness connected

      (Airbag Cut Off Switch)

      Disconnect the connector from the airbag cut off switch.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L117-2 (PMC+) - L117-1 (PMC-) Cut off switch in ON 360 to 440 Ω
      L117-2 (PMC+) - L117-1 (PMC-) Cut off switch in OFF 90 to 110 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the airbag cut off switch.
