BATTERY INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY


    1. Install the battery.

    2. A01JDBG

      Connect the battery ventilation hose to the battery without kinking it.

      Tech Tips

      Push in the battery ventilation hose to the battery until a click sound is heard.

    3. A01JCML

      Install the battery clamp with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      Nut
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
      Bolt
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    4. Install the battery thermometer sensor connector

    5. A01JB30E02

      Connect the positive (+) battery terminal with the nut.

    6. Install the battery terminal cap.

    7. A01JCSI

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 3 rear floor board plate upper.

  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

      Engage the 2 guides to install the rear No. 3 floor board.

  4. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. Install the rear deck floor box.

  5. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD


    1. A01JCWRE01

      Engage the 3 guides <A>.

    2. Engage the 2 guides <B> and install the rear No. 2 floor board as shown in the illustration.
