BATTERY REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

    Note

    After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD


    1. A01JB5ZE01

      Disengage the 2 guides <A> as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 3 guides <B> and remove the rear No. 2 floor board.

  3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. Remove the rear deck floor box.

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the rear No. 3 floor board.

  5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  6. REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 3 rear floor board plate upper.

    2. A01JB30E01

      Open the battery terminal cap.

    3. Loosen the nut, and disconnect the positive (+) battery terminal.

    4. A01JCML

      Remove the nut and bolt.

    5. Remove the battery thermometer sensor connector.

    6. Remove the battery clamp.

    7. A01JDBG

      Disconnect the battery ventilation hose.

    8. Remove the battery.
