PARKING ASSIST ECU INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL PARKING ASSIST ECU (for RHD)


    1. A01J9EY

      Engage the claws to install the parking assist ECU.

    2. Install the nut.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Connect each connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

      Engage the 2 guides and claw to connect the hood lock control cable.

    4. A01J9Q6

      Engage the 6 claws and clip.

    5. A01JA5Y

      Install the lower instrument panel finish panel assembly with the screw <C>.

  3. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

  5. INSTALL PARKING ASSIST ECU (for LHD)

      Engage the claws to install the parking assist ECU.

    2. Install the nut.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      *b Closed

      With the glove compartment door assembly opened approximately 55° from its closed position, engage the 2 hinges horizontally.

      Note

      Engaging the hinges from the top will deform the hinges. Be sure to install the glove compartment door assembly horizontally.

      *1 Glove Compartment Door Stopper Sub-assembly
      *2 Stopper

      Slightly bend the stoppers (A) and (B) in the directions indicated by the arrows in the illustration and engage the stoppers to install the glove compartment door assembly.

    3. Engage the claw and connect the glove compartment door stopper sub-assembly.

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

      Engage the guide and 3 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.
