ULTRASONIC SENSOR REMOVAL

REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
1. Remove the 3 clips.
2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator support opening cover.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  *1 Protective Tape
  
  Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
3. Remove the screw.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and 4 screws.
5. Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips.
6. w/ Front Spoiler:
  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
  2. Remove the 2 screws.
  3. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front spoiler cover.
7. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front bumper assembly.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
8. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration and disconnect the connector.
  
  Note
  
  Do not apply excessive force when separating the front bumper.
9. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
  1. Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose and drain the washer fluid.
    
    Tech Tips
    
    Use a container to collect the washer fluid.
10. Remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the wire harness with bracket.
3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER
1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.
