DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the parking assist ECU judges that the temperature has increased to a point that can cause a malfunction of the parking assist ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
When the "System initializing" message is displayed on the navigation ECU sub-assembly after the auxiliary battery cable has been disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.
Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the intelligent parking assist system may be needed Click here.
The same DTC will be stored again if the parking assist ECU is extremely hot due to high cabin temperature. Make sure that the cabin temperature is normal when performing the following procedure.

Tech Tips
If the DTC is not output again when rechecking for DTCs, it may have been stored due to a temporary increase in ambient temperature.
If DTC C1662 is output frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again, even though the DTCs are not output when rechecking for DTCs Click here.
