DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the digital audio broadcasting antenna assembly which is connected to the navigation ECU sub-assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. REPLACE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    INSPECT NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here

  2. INSPECT NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance of the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly to check for an open circuit in the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Standard Resistance
      Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the resistance between the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Standard Resistance
      10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPLACE NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here

  3. INSPECT NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance of the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly to check for an open circuit in the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Standard Resistance
      Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the resistance between the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Standard Resistance
      10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPLACE NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here

  4. REPLACE ROOF ANTENNA POLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the roof antenna pole sub-assembly Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

  5. REPLACE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Roof)


    1. Replace the amplifier antenna assembly (for Roof) Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.
