AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM Microphone Circuit between Microphone and Radio Receiver

DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends the microphone signal from the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) to the radio receiver assembly.

It also supplies power source from the radio receiver assembly to the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly).

  1. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Reconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.

    3. Turn the power switch on (ACC).

    4. Connect an oscilloscope to terminals U3-4 (MCO+) and U3-3 (MCO-) of the map light assembly connector.

    5. Check the waveform of the telephone microphone assembly using an oscilloscope.
