PRECAUTION (for HID Headlight)
Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
Remove the 7 clips and radiator support opening cover.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip and screw.
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for both pin hold clips and screws.
Remove the 9 screws.
Remove the 2 clips and 3 bolts.

Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.
Detach the 10 claws and remove the front bumper cover.
w/ Fog Light:
Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.
w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
Disconnect the headlight washer hose, and then drain the washer fluid.
Tech Tips
Use a container to collect the washer fluid.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
Remove the front bumper energy absorber.
REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
for Halogen Headlight:

REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:
Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.
Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the 5 clamps.
Remove the 8 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the 3 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

Remove the 3 bolts and front wheel opening extension pad.
