HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the spiral cable Click here.

  2. REMOVE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A003APY

      Disconnect the connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Note

      If the claw is pressed forcefully, it will break.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A003EMD

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A003AHP

      While loosening the band clamp as shown in the illustration, detach the claw to remove the headlight dimmer switch.

      Note

      If the claw is pressed forcefully, it will break.
