HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for HID Headlight) REPAIR

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH

    Tech Tips


    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply bracket for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

      Remove the screw.

    2. Remove the headlight bracket.

    3. A003C92

      Install the headlight bracket with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH

    Tech Tips


    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

      Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the headlight protector retainer against the bosses and file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A003D9K

      Install the headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT LH PROTECTOR RETAINER LH

    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

      Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the headlight protector retainer against the bosses and file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A003CKP

      Install the headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT PLATE LH

    Tech Tips


    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply plate for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.


    1. A003DHJ

      Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the headlight plate against the bosses and file away the old plate if it interferes with the installation of the supply plate.

    2. A003C47

      Install the headlight plate with the 2 screws.
