HEADLIGHT CLEANER ACTUATOR REMOVAL

REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
1. Remove the 7 clips and radiator support opening cover.
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip and screw.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure for both pin hold clips and screws.
2. Remove the 9 screws.
3. Remove the 2 clips and 3 bolts.

  *1 Protective Tape
  
  Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.
5. Detach the 10 claws and remove the front bumper cover.
6. w/ Fog Light:
  
  Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.
7. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
  
  Disconnect the headlight washer hose, and then drain the washer fluid.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

Release the lock as shown in the illustration.

Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose from the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly, and drain the washer fluid.

REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER (for LH Side)
1. Extend the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover by hand.
2. Detach 2 the claws and remove the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover.

Tech Tips

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
1. Release the lock as shown in the illustration.
2. Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.
3. Remove the 2 screws.
4. Detach the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.
