WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM (w/ Rain Sensor) Wiper and Washer Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the windshield wiper switch. The manual operation signals are sent to the windshield wiper relay.

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH - BATTERY)

      Disconnect the D33 switch connector.

   2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition D33-2 (+B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

2. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Remove the windshield wiper switch Click here.

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      *: The rain sensor sensitivity can be adjusted by the windshield wiper switch adjusting ring.

      Disconnect the A9 motor connector.

   2. Disconnect the D33 switch connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D33-2 (+B) - A9-4 Always Below 1 Ω D33-3 (+1) - A9-3 D33-4 (+2) - A9-2 D33-2 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D33-3 (+1) - Body ground

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH - WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY AND BODY GROUND)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the D34 and D33 switch connectors.

      

   2. Disconnect the D60 relay connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
