LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Connect the connector and install the back door opener switch.

  2. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A003AJI

      Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 lights.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE

    1. Attach the clip to install the luggage compartment door garnish outside.

    2. A003CYE

      Install the 6 nuts.

  4. INSTALL REAR LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH


    1. A003BRR

      Install the rear light lens and body with the 4 nuts.

    2. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL REAR LIGHT LENS AND BODY RH


    1. A003EEF

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and rear light lens and body.

  6. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System)


    1. A005UF3

      Connect the connector.

    2. A005TMT

      Install the camera with the 2 nuts.

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR OPENER CABLE PROTECTOR RH (w/ Double Locking System)


    1. A005T58

      Attach the 2 claws to install the luggage door opener cable protector.

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005V9X

      w/ Double Locking System:

      Attach the 5 clamps to install the cable sub-assembly.

    2. A005VCG

      w/o Double Locking System:

      Attach the 6 clamps to install the cable sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A003CL6

      Install the luggage compartment door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. A003BFO

      Raise the cover of the luggage compartment door lock as shown in the illustration.

    4. A003CH6

      Connect the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

    5. Return the cover of the luggage compartment door lock to its original position.

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR


    1. A005RX8

      Attach the 8 claws to install the No. 12 wiring harness protector and No. 2 wiring harness protector.

    2. A005TY3

      Install the protector with the clip.

    3. A005SLC

      Attach the claw to install the cable lever.

  11. INSTALL NO. 3 WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR


    1. A005VPK

      Attach the 8 claws to install the No. 13 wiring harness protector and No. 3 wiring harness protector.

    2. A005UUO

      Install the protector with the clip.

  12. INSTALL REAR SPOILER (w/ Rear Spoiler)


    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new rear spoiler.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new rear spoiler.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the rear spoiler.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Attach the 5 clips and double-sided tape to install the rear spoiler.

        Tech Tips

        Press the rear spoiler firmly to install it.

  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER

      Attach the 10 clips to install the cover.

  14. INSTALL DOOR ASSIST GRIP

      Attach the 2 claws to install the door assist grip.

  15. INSTALL BACK DOOR ASSIST GRIP

      Install the assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. A005RK3

      Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.
