ROOF SUNSHADE DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE CONNECTOR WIRE

    1. Detach the 2 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the connector wire.

  2. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and drive gear.

  3. REMOVE SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws and No. 1 sliding roof housing frame sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 sliding roof guide rail stoppers.

      *2 No. 2 Sunshade Trim Guide

      Slide the sunshade trim in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    4. Disconnect the 2 No. 2 sunshade trim guides from the sunshade trim.

      Slide the sunshade trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

    6. Disconnect the 2 sliding roof drive cables from the sunshade trim and remove the sunshade trim.

      Note

      Do not bend or twist the sliding roof drive cable as it will damage the cable.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Slide the No. 2 sunshade trim and remove it.

  5. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF CABLE GUIDE CASING

      Remove the 2 sliding roof cable guide casings.
