ROOF HEADLINING (for Sedan) INSTALLATION

INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER LH

1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 side rail spacer.

INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

1. Attach the 5 claws to install the front shoulder belt anchor plate.

INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE OUTSIDE LH

1. Attach the 2 clips to install the rear door scuff plate outside.

INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE OUTSIDE LH

1. Attach the 3 clips to install the front door scuff plate outside.

INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

1. Place the roof headlining into the vehicle through the passenger door.

   Note

   Be careful not to damage the roof headlining when placing it in the cabin.

2. Attach the clip to install the roof headlining.

   

3. for LHD:

   
   

   1. 

      Connect the 2 roof wire connectors.

   2. 

      Connect the 2 clamps.

4. for RHD:

   
   

   1. 

      Connect the roof wire connector.

   2. 

      Connect the 2 clamps and connector.

5. 

   Connect the 4 clamps to the front pillar LH.

6. 

   w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna:

   Attach the wire harness clamp and connect the connector to the rear pillar LH.

7. 

   Install the antenna with the 2 bolts.

   Torque:

   7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

8. Connect the clamp to the rear pillar RH.

9. Connect the 3 connectors.

10. 

    Connect the 3 clamps to the front pillar RH.

11. Connect the connector.

12. 

    w/ Rain Sensor:

    Connect the rain sensor connector.

13. 

    w/ EC Mirror:

    Connect the EC mirror connector.

INSTALL SUNSHADE TRIM HOLDER

1. Position the pin as shown in the illustration and install the sunshade trim holder.

INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY

Tech Tips

Use the same procedure for the other assist grip.

1. Assemble the assist grip as shown in the illustration.

2. 

   Install the assist grip.

1. Attach the 2 claws.

2. Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

1. Connect the connector.

2. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 1 room light.

1. Install 2 new clips labeled A to the inner roof side garnish.

2. Attach the 5 clips to install the inner roof side garnish.

1. Pass the front seat outer belt floor anchor through the center pillar garnish.

2. Attach the clip to install the center pillar garnish.

3. Install the 2 screws.

4. 

   Install the front seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

   Torque:

   41 N*m  { 418 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

1. Attach the 3 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

1. w/ Curtain Shield Airbag:

   Remove the protective cover.

2. Attach the 2 guides.

3. Turn the end of the front pillar garnish clip 90° with needle-nose pliers and install it to the front pillar garnish.

   Tech Tips

   Tape the tips of the needle-nose pliers before use.
