OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH (for Manual Seat)

      *1 Protective Tape

      Raise the reclining adjuster release handle LH to reveal the claw. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Manual Seat)

      Detach the 2 rubber bands.

    2. A00ONR0

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Detach the hook and claw and remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

    4. A00OIA6

      w/ Lumbar Support:

      Disconnect the connector.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

      Apply protective tape around the front seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD (for Power Seat)

      Detach the 2 rubber bands.

    2. A00OIUO

      Remove the 2 screws and detach the 2 claws.

    3. A00OIYK

      Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Pull the front seat cushion shield LH to detach the hook and remove the front seat cushion shield LH with front seat No. 1 inner cushion shield.

    5. A00OMVA

      for Driver Side:

      Disconnect the connector.

  6. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Power Seat)


    1. A00OM6W

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. for Driver Side:

      Disconnect the connector and detach the clamps.

    2. for Passenger Side:

      Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.

      Remove the nut and front seat inner belt.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      *2 Wire Harness Clamp

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the hook and wire harness clamp and remove the front seat inner cushion shield LH.

  9. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. for Power Seat:

      Remove the seat cushion cover with pad Click here.

    2. for Manual Seat:

      Remove the seat cushion cover with pad Click here.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Detach the hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Note

      w/ Seat Heater System:

      • As the front seat cushion heater assembly is affixed to the separate type front seat cushion pad, do not remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      • When replacing either the front seat cushion heater assembly or separate type front seat cushion pad due to a malfunction, be sure to replace both of them with new parts.
