FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) REASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. A010KSH

      Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

  2. INSTALL REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. A010LAA

      Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. Install front seat airbag assembly LH with 2 new nuts.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

    2. Attach the 4 harness clamps and connect the connector clamp.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A010LLU

      Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, install the adjuster with the 4 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

    2. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. A010HUV

      Attach the connector.

    4. A010KZO

      Install the separate type front seatback pad.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH (w/ Lumbar Support)


    1. A010LSB

      Attach the claw to install the seat wire.

    2. Attach the 3 wire harness clamps.

    3. A010IO2

      Attach the wire harness clamp.

    4. A010JVG

      Connect the connector.

  6. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. A010K81

      Attach the claw to install the seat climate control controller.

    2. Connect the connector.

  7. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A010HN1

      Attach the 2 hooks.

    2. A010GC3

      Attach the 2 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.

    3. w/o Active Headrest:

      Install the front seat headrest.

    4. w/ Active Headrest:


      1. A010GCD

        Install the front seat headrest.

      2. A010GJFE01

        Install the wire in the order shown in the illustration.

      3. A010HE4

        Attach the 2 claws to attach the wire.

      4. A010G4P

        Attach the 2 claws to install the active headrest lower unit.

      5. A010IKT

        Pull the wire and connect the end of the wire to the active headrest lower unit.

      6. A010HQA

        Install a new cable tie.

      7. A010L81

        Attach the 2 hooks to close the seatback mat.

      *3 Hog Ring Pliers

      Attach the 3 hooks.

    6. Using hog ring pliers, install the upper part of the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Attach the front seatback cover bracket with the screw.

      Pass the 2 straps through the separate type front seatback pad holes to the backside.

      Attach the 2 hooks to install the 2 straps.

    10. A010JHK

      Attach the 2 hooks at the bottom of the seatback cover

    11. Attach the 4 hooks to install the cover.

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. Remove the peeling paper from a new cushion heater.

    2. A003C0C

      Install the cushion heater to a new front seat cushion pad.

  9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A010GGQ

      Attach the hooks to install the cover.

  10. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.

      A010LAP

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

      Connect the connector.

    3. A010MAE

      w/ Lumbar Support:

      Attach the wire harness clamp.

    4. for Passenger Side:


      1. A010LZM

        Attach the 2 hooks to install the connector holder.

    5. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A010J4I

        Connect the connector.

      2. A010GDU

        Install a new cable tie.

    6. A010LVJ

      Attach the 2 rubber bands.

    7. for Driver Side:


      1. A010IVG

        Attach the 2 claws to install the vertical adjuster handle bracket with connector link.

      2. A010JUA

        Install the connector link and attach the clip.

    8. A010M6T

      Install the reclining handle with the nut.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
    9. A010K9Z

      Attach the 2 hooks to install the spring.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

      Install the front seat inner belt with the nut.

      Torque:
      41 N*m  { 418 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

    2. for Driver Side:

      Connect the connector and attach the clamps.

    3. for Passenger Side:

      Connect the connectors and attach the clamps.

  12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Attach the wire harness clamp and hook to install the shield.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  13. INSTALL LUMBAR FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)

      Install the 2 screws and switch.

  14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      w/ Lumbar Support:

      Connect the connector.

      Attach the claw and hook to install the cushion shield.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

  15. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH


    1. A010KI5

      Attach the claw to install the release handle.

  16. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for Driver Side)


    1. A010LKH

      Install the handle with the 2 screws.

  17. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Driver Side)


    1. A010IM5

      Attach the 2 claws to install the cap.
