GENERATOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A005TRR

      Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }
    2. A005RGN

      Temporarily install the generator with the bolt.

    3. A005SPL

      Temporarily install the adjusting bar with the 2 bolts.

    4. A005SIG

      Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut and install the terminal cap.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    5. Connect the connector and wire harness clamp.

    6. Install the V-ribbed belt Click here.

    7. Adjust the V-ribbed belt Click here.

    8. Inspect the V-ribbed belt Click here.

    9. A005WDP

      Tighten the bolt.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 189 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH


    1. A00DQWD

      Install the under cover RH with the 5 clips.

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER


    1. A005W8Q

      Attach the 4 clips to install the cover.

      Note


      • Be sure to attach the clips securely.

      • Do not apply excessive force or hit the cover to attach the clips. This may cause the cover to break.

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER


    1. A00DRS1

      Install the radiator support opening cover with the 8 clips.

  6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER


    1. A00DRIG

      Install the engine room side cover with the clip.
