INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - EXTENSION MODULE)


    1. Disconnect the z19 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the z17 extension module connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      z19-22 (VOI+) - z17-31 (VOI+) Always Below 1 Ω
      z19-23 (VOI-) - z17-30 (VOI-) Always Below 1 Ω
      z19-22 (VOI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z19-23 (VOI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
