REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
Remove the clip and engine room side cover.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the ignition switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately a minute to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, wait a minute or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
for Sedan:
Remove the roof headlining Click here.
for Wagon:
Remove the roof headlining Click here.
REMOVE NO. 6 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Sedan)
Remove the 2 No. 6 roof silencer pads.
REMOVE NO. 6 ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Wagon)
Remove the 4 No. 6 roof silencer pads.
REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.
REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Wagon)
w/o Panorama Roof:
Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.
w/ Panorama Roof
Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.
REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the upper instrument panel Click here.
REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
w/ Navigation System:
Remove the navigation antenna assembly.
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the claw and remove the navigation antenna assembly.
Detach the 4 claws and remove the defroster nozzle assembly.
REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)
for Connector Type:
Remove the bolt.
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
for Plug Type:
Remove the bolt.
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)
for Connector Type:
Remove the bolt.
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
for Plug Type:
Remove the bolt.
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
