    1. Perform the auto-search of the radio and check that it functions normally.

  3. CHECK ANTENNA FOR NOISE PRODUCTION


    1. With the ignition switch ACC, turn on the radio and choose the AM mode.

    2. Place the tip of a screwdriver on the antenna and check that noise is heard from the speakers.

      1. Remove the antenna connector from the radio receiver.

    2. A003BDYE01

      Plug Type:


      1. Remove the antenna plug from the radio receiver.

    3. With the radio receiver connector connected, turn the ignition switch to ACC.

    4. Turn on the radio and choose the AM mode.

    5. Place a flat-head screwdriver or a piece of metal, such as a thin wire, on the antenna jack of the radio receiver. Check that noise is heard from the speakers.
