STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) REASSEMBLY

Note

When using a vise, do not overtighten it.


  1. INSTALL STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Secure the steering column assembly in a vise.

    2. Temporarily install the steering lock actuator assembly with a 2 tapered-head bolts.

      Note

      Be sure to use a new tapered-head bolt.

      Tighten the 2 tapered-heads bolt until the bolt heads breaks off.
