ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. A003CV2E01

      Install the electric parking brake switch with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.1 N*m  { 72 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (for RHD)


    1. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the panel end.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the panel end.

  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH (for LHD)


    1. Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the panel end.

  4. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL (w/o Console Box Lid)


    1. When replacing the No. 3 box panel with a new one:


      1. A003DNZE01

        *1 Cut

        Cut off the rib (the piece used to maintain the shape of the panel) shown in the illustration.

    2. A003AMQ

      Attach the 6 clips to install the box panel.

  5. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL (w/ Console Box Lid)


    1. When replacing the No. 3 box panel with a new one:

    2. Attach the 6 clips to install the box panel.

  6. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for RHD)

      Attach the guide near the front of the vehicle.

    2. Attach the clamp.

    3. Attach the 2 clips and 5 claws to install the finish panel.

  7. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for LHD)

      Attach the guide near the front of the vehicle.

    2. Attach the clamp.

    3. Attach the 2 clips and 5 claws to install the finish panel.

  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  9. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT


    1. Check the SRS warning light Click here.
