VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM VSC Warning Light does not Come ON

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN communication.

If the ECU stores a DTC, the DTC will be displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output Click here.

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (VSC WARNING LIGHT)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Start the engine.

    3. Select the Active Test mode on the intelligent tester Click here.

    4. Check that the master warning light and multi-information display on the combination meter turn on or off in accordance with the intelligent tester operation.

    1. Perform the Active Test of the combination meter to check the master warning light and multi-information display using the intelligent tester Click here.
