  1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (LH (-) AND RH (+))

    Component without wire harness connected

    (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly)
    *2 for LH
    *3 for RH

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LH
      Tester Connection Shift Position Specified Condition
      SDN - ECC Shift switch held in "-" (down-shift) Below 2.5 Ω
      SDN - ECC Shift switch not held in "-" (down-shift) 1 MΩ or higher
      for RH
      Tester Connection Shift Position Specified Condition
      SUP - ECC Shift switch held in "+" (up-shift) Below 2.5 Ω
      SUP - ECC Shift switch not held in "+" (up-shift) 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the transmission shift switch assembly.
