IGNITION SWITCH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle)


    1. Install the ignition switch with the 2 screws.

      Attach the claw to connect the key interlock solenoid wire harness to the ignition switch.

  2. INSTALL IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. A005UT2

      Install the ignition switch with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN WITH SWITCH BRACKET ASSEMBLY


    1. Secure the steering column assembly in a vise.

    2. Temporarily install the steering column upper with switch bracket assembly to the steering column assembly with a new tapered-head bolt.

      Note

      Be sure to use a new tapered-head bolt.

    3. A003DB2

      Tighten the tapered-head bolt until the bolt heads breaks off.

  4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY
