ENGINE SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Remove the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag Click here.

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for LHD)

      *2 Clamp
      *3 Guide

      Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 2 clips and 5 claws.

    3. Detach the clamp.

    4. Detach the guide near the front of the vehicle and remove the finish panel.

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL (for LHD)


    1. Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 6 clips and remove the box panel.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH (for LHD)


    1. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 clips and 5 claws and remove the panel end.

  5. REMOVE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 3 bolts and electric parking brake switch.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)

      Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 3 clips and 4 claws.

      *1 w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch Cylinder

      w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch Cylinder:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Detach the 2 hooks and remove the side panel.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for RHD)


    1. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 3 claws and 4 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the switch hole base.

  8. REMOVE ENGINE SWITCH (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the engine switch.

  9. REMOVE ENGINE SWITCH (for RHD)


    1. A003DF2

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the engine switch from the No. 1 switch hole base.
