EXHAUST MANIFOLD INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A005TWF

      Install the insulator with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    1. A005V24

      Install the insulator with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR


    1. A005W8O

      Install the insulator with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new gasket onto the cylinder head.

    2. Temporarily install the manifold with the 5 nuts.

    3. A005UCTE01

      Tighten the 5 nuts in the sequence shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A005SRN

      Install the insulator with the 3 bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A005VJV

      Install the stay with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A005RTD

      Temporarily install the stay with the nut.

    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

    3. Tighten the nut.

      Torque:
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE


    1. A005WIK

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the guide.

    2. Install the guide with the bolt.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK

  10. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the generator Click here.

  11. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front exhaust pipe Click here.
