PCV VALVE INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A00DQRFE10

      Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve.

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

      *1 22 mm Deep Socket Wrench

      Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, install the ventilation valve.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  2. CONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE


    1. A00DTH5E01

      Connect the ventilation hose to the ventilation valve.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A00DS8Z

      Install the cover with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER


    1. Install the cowl top ventilator louver Click here.

  5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK


    1. Start the engine. Make sure that there are no oil leaks from the area that was worked on.
